What this policy covers
This policy covers cookies and browser storage on the public Langstack website. The Langstack platform, Support portal, and external websites have separate notices.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential storage to remember your privacy choices and a colour theme you explicitly select. Functional storage and Google Analytics are optional and remain off until you enable them. We do not currently use advertising cookies or remarketing pixels.
Essential
langstack:consent is first-party local storage provided by Langstack. It records your category choices, the notice version, and the time of your choice, without a visitor identifier. Your choice is valid for 180 days; after that, or when the purposes change, we ask again. The record is not sent to Google.
langstack:theme is first-party local storage provided by Langstack. It remembers a Light or Dark theme you explicitly choose in the footer for up to 180 days. It contains only your theme choice and its date, not a visitor identifier, and is not sent to Google. Choosing System removes this saved choice and follows your device settings. No theme entry is stored until you choose Light or Dark.
Functional
If enabled, langstack:homepage:solutions stores your selected solution category in first-party session storage. It stays in your browser and normally ends when the tab closes, although browser session restoration can preserve it. Switching Functional off clears this saved preference. The website remains usable without it.
Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures page views, traffic sources, selected calls to action, and successfully received enquiries or applications. Google receives usage and technical data, including cookie identifiers and browser/device information. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, uploaded documents, or the contents of your message.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies _ga and _ga_MG02RVR5XG to distinguish browsers and sessions. Their configured lifetime is up to 180 days, without automatic renewal on each visit. They are provided through Google Analytics, operated by Google Ireland Limited for customers in the EEA. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s data processing terms for information about processing and international transfers.
We use Basic Consent Mode: the Google tag does not load and no analytics requests are sent before you accept Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalisation remain disabled. Local development and internal brand-review pages are excluded from measurement.
Marketing
No marketing providers are currently enabled. Accept all enables only the optional categories described here; it does not authorise future advertising tools.
Your choices
Use Cookie settings, available in the footer, to enable or disable each optional category at any time. Accept all enables Functional and Analytics; Reject optional disables both. Changes are saved immediately. If browser storage is blocked, choices apply only for the current visit.
Withdrawing Analytics consent stops further measurement and removes the Analytics cookies that this website controls. If the Google tag has already loaded, the page refreshes to unload it fully. Withdrawal does not automatically delete data already collected or change the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact us about applicable access or deletion rights. Clearing your browser’s website data also removes saved choices.
External services and internal reviews
Links to the Support portal and external websites lead to separate services with their own notices. Internal design-review pages can store session-only presentation choices in langstack:homepage-preview:solutions and sovereign-diagram-abc; these are not analytics identifiers.
